Types of Energy
The energy is abality to do
a work. There are several types of energy, for example: The energy that is
found in food, when we eat we have the energy to walk and work; the solar
energy which we receive in the form of heat and light; the street light use electrical
energy to see in the dark; the kinetic energy is the energy due to movement; the
potential energy is the energy stored inside the object, the gravitational energy that is the movement produced by the force of
gravity.
“Energy can neither be
destroyed nor created but it can transform from one form of energy to another”,
for example the potential energy can be to transform into kinetic energy. Electrical energy is
transformed into heat and light
It’s important to keep in
mind: The plants use solar energy for photosynthesis. Only 10% of the energy of
the bulbs is for light, the remaining 90% is heat.
